Most state and local health departments participate in disease investigation when someone tests positive for HIV or syphilis (and some other sexually transmitted infections). In Kansas, these investigations are handled by Behavioral Intervention Specialists staffed out of the state and county health departments. I developed this presentation and the accompanying "black book" for one of their quarterly statewide meetings.

With the explosion of smart phones and location-based apps, men who have sex with men (MSM) have a wide variety of options available to find quick and easy sex. This presentation and guide focus on apps such as Grindr, Scruff, and Adam4Adam to show the investigators how to better use the apps.
